{"id":1236,"date":"2023-11-06T14:59:57","date_gmt":"2023-11-06T20:59:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rocksolidapologia.com\/?p=1236"},"modified":"2023-11-06T14:59:57","modified_gmt":"2023-11-06T20:59:57","slug":"christians-confused-by-joseph-smiths-weird-sheep-wolf-hybrid-costume-for-halloween","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rocksolidapologia.com\/?p=1236","title":{"rendered":"Christians Confused by Joseph Smith\u2019s Weird Sheep Wolf Hybrid Costume for Halloween"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Satura Apologia Today<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Salt Lake City \u2013 Church goers at the local Baptist Church\u2019s yearly fall festival were confused by the unexpected appearance of LDS prophet Joseph Smith. \u201cTrick or treat!\u201d Joseph Smith declared, upon ringing the doorbell and surprising all the costumed churchgoers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHe looked kind of like a wolf dressed in sheep\u2019s clothing.\u201d The Pastor said, when describing Smith\u2019s costume later on to a friend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pastor proceeded to ask Smith what he was dressed as. \u201cOh, just one of the flock.\u201d Smith said airily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYou are not dressed as a false prophet, are you friend?\u201d The Pastor clarified, gesturing to the wolf\u2019s garb underneath the sheep\u2019s clothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNo, no, no!\u201d Smith assured. \u201cI am dressed as a sheep.\u201d Joseph Smith said, while grinning wolfishly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At publishing time, Joseph Smith had invited the congregation to come listen to his teachings.
