Metropolitan Baptist Church – After preaching through the book of Revelation and scaring half his congregation away with stirring teaching on the four horsemen of the apocalypse, Pastor Charles Haddon Spurgeon could take a deep breath as those horsemen have finally been revealed. Congregants were relieved to learn that the horsemen described in Revelation 6 were only three old guys and one young guy who talk a lot.
“I was expecting death to come riding in on a pale horse, I can’t tell you how relieved I was to see Mr. Richard Dawkins toddling down from Heaven instead.” A congregant known as Joe said.
Congregant Lucille echoed that sentiment. “I thought the apocalypse would be a little more spectacular than four dudes sitting around smoking pipes and sharing their faith in the non-existence of God with one another.”
By publishing time, Richard Dawkins announced that in a new initiative to make more atheists, he would ride up and down the streets of London in a black hood on a pale horse encouraging people to have faith that God does not exist.
