New York City – After international outcry for his remarks on the Israel Hamas war, UN secretary general Antonio Guterres stepped down over the weekend. In a statement, Guterres endorsed his successor, the Islamic prophet Muhammad.

“The best way to ensure peace in the middle east is to hand over the reigns of the United Nations to the prophet of the religion of peace. Muhammad (peace be upon him) will bring about peace in the middle east just like he brought about peace after mostly peacefully conquering Mecca and Medina.”

In a statement written by someone else, the unlettered prophet said that his first priority was to crack down on Israeli islamophobia. “These attacks did not happen in a vacuum.” Muhammad explained. “The Jews are truly the worst of creatures.”

The United Nations did not respond immediately to our request for comment.
