The Vatican – In a decision highly lauded by the residents of Sodom and Gomorrah, his eminence Pope Francis recently made the groundbreaking decision to allow catholic priests to bless same sex Unions.

            According to sources familiar with the matter, the Pope recently received a request from LDS prophet Joseph Smith. The confidential letter asked the Pope to extend his blessings to polygamous unions as well. “What’s the difference?” Joseph Smith asked. “Blessing polygamous unions is just as Biblical as blessing same sex unions.”

            “Can catholic priests now give me a blessing too?” Second President of the LDS Church Brigham Young wondered. “Actually, can I have fifty-six blessings? One for each of my marriages?”

            At the time of this article’s publication, his eminence had not replied directly to the LDS Church saying only that it may be discussed at the next synod.
