The Local Target – In preparation for his next book, famed naturalist and author Charles Darwin headed to Target looking for one of those new-fangled machines that modern authors use to write books.

               “Can I help you?” The Target employee asked a confused looking Darwin.

               “Yes, I was wondering where I can find your evolved typewriters?”

               “Evolved typewriters? What is that?”

               Darwin went on to explain the kind of machine he was looking for. The object he sought had a square screen, right above a keyboard…

               “Oh, you mean a computer!” The Target employee said. Darwin nodded. “Well why didn’t you just say that?”

               At the time of this article’s publication, Darwin was surprised to learn that the computer was in fact invented and it did not just evolve naturally on the Target shelves.
