Many are convinced that the only apologetics satire on the web is found here at Rock Solid Apologia and thus they think we are brilliant for introducing satire to the wonderful world of Christian apologetics.
Well, it turns out there have been many apologists down through history that have far funnier defenses of the faith than we do. Satura Apologia Today is proud to present some of histories funniest apologists.
- Elijah – This is an obvious choice. He’s the only apologist we are aware of who asked pagans if their God was going to the bathroom. (1st Kings 18: 25 – 27)
- Martin Luther – The most prominent Christian to advise us to mock the Devil when he is not paying attention to the Bible.
- G.K. Chesterton – There is just nothing like reading through a pile of G.K. Chesterton quotes for comedic inspiration. If our site was heretical, we would recommend that Chesterton be added to the Bible. (But we’re not heretical, so we won’t.)
