Beyond the Satire: Muslims often tell Christians that the Bible was corrupted early on in Christian history. Interestingly, Uthman, one of Muhammad’s successors, burned all the varying interpretations of the Quran that disagreed with him. Rome – A first comes in apologetics history as the Pope reveals that he is deeply jealous of an Islamic caliph. Pope Leo X publicly admitted yesterday that he was jealous of the Islamic leader Uthman. “Uthman burned a stack of Qurans, and the fire was almost as big as the Papacy’s errors on the authority of scripture!” Pope Leo said.

The news of the Pope’s jealousy comes after Leo became increasingly annoyed with all the heretical truths Martin Luther has been spreading across the Catholic Church.

“I wish I could alter the Bible like Uthman altered the Quran.” Leo said. “I would start by altering those sixty-six Protestant books of the Bible. Frankly, I feel like God plagiarized Martin Luther.”
