The Desert – Repentance has come to the people of Israel. The unrepentant sinners from the land of Egypt have seen the error of their ways and have asked Moses’ brother Aaron to take down the statue of the golden calf.

            “It’s about time we took down that cow and put me up instead.” One repenting Israelite sinner with the unlikely name of Doug said. “It’s way easier to worship the guy staring at me in the mirror every morning than it is to worship a cow.”

            “I repent of my foolishness.” Another sinner said. “I will make a good God and that cow will make good beef.”

            According to sources familiar with Aaron, Aaron was originally pleased with the development, until he learned what God’s people asked for instead.
