Darwin’s local Cinema – Atheist movie goer Charles Darwin recently headed to the movie theatre to see his all-time favorite film in the cinemas. The theatre manager confirmed that ‘Planet of the Apes’ was unsurprisingly the all-time favorite movie of the famed atheist.

            Reports say that Darwin was so enthralled by the film that he headed home for a rewatch. “I have got unlimited access to the history channel.” Darwin told his long-suffering wife. “We can rewatch Planet of the Apes tonight on the history channel.”

Darwin’s wife had to break the news to her husband that Planet of the Apes was not a history film but was science fiction.

            “I thought that was earth a long time ago.” A bewildered Darwin declared. “You know, back in the days when apes ran around with fancy guns proving that morality is subjective by doing all sorts of awful things to each other.” Darwin sighed. “Things have not changed all that much.”

            Never to be deterred, Darwin figured the sequels at least had to be real and stayed up all night looking for them amongst his favorite documentaries.
