Egypt – Totally genuine Israelite Joseph Smith recently proved himself to be as much of an Israelite as Moses by standing up for the children of Israel himself while they were still enslaved in Egypt.

“I only finished translating the book of Abraham last week!” Smith told Latter - Day Saints. “My Egyptian can’t be that rusty.”

“Let my people go!” Joseph Smith yelled at Pharaoh, doing as good of a Charlton Heston impression as he could.

“Oh, you want a burger, do you?” Pharaoh asked, apparently not understanding the obviously fluent LDS prophet.

“Let my people go!” Joseph Smith roared for a second time.

“Sorry, I think I misunderstood. Did you just say you wanted a raccoon with your burger?”

In related news, the LDS church just bought a brand-new Egyptian papyrus for Joseph Smith to give to Pharaoh to interpret for him.
