Pampa Texas – In an effort to silence his critics, who allege that the New World Translation of the Bible is untrustworthy since Russell didn’t know an iota of Greek, Charles Taze Russell assured critics that his Greek skills are on par with his Klingon skills.
“Shmisherfunkle shall marshfiggles.” Russell said in perfect Klingon, which roughly translates as “My Klingon good” in English.
Unfortunately, Russell ruined his credibility with the following statement. “Sniggle Wiggles glue puddles gum.” What Russell meant to say in English was “I know Greek” whereas what he actually said translated to “What the heck is Hebrew?” Inadvertently, proving that his Greek skills and Klingon skills are indeed exactly the same.
