Outside Mecca – When asked by close companions how to preserve the Quran perfectly, the Islamic prophet Muhammad helpfully recommended that the Quran be placed in the freezer.

“Placing Allah’s word in the freezer will slow the movement of molecules and prevent the growth of microorganisms,” Muhammad said confidently. “In addition, it will bring corruption to a grinding halt and block any nefarious demon activity.”  

“The Quran was refrigerated as soon as it was transcribed.” Caliph Uthman assured Muslims who were concerned about corruption. “Allah will surely protect his word!” Uthman continued. “Provided it is properly refrigerated.”

“The Quran is even easier to preserve than chicken!” Elated Muslim scholars exclaimed upon hearing the news.

In related news, Muhammad warned against microwaving or boiling the Quran stating that neither is an effective protection against corruption.
