Charles Taze Russell Credits Inspiration from the Force in Writing the New World Translation

Satura Apologia Today

Pampa Texas – In a move that is sure to inspire confidence in any Jehovah’s Witness with doubts, founder Charles Taze Russell said that the Force guided his pen all the way through the translation process.

“The Force was most definitely with me as I wrote this inerrant translation of the Bible that totally did not change the fundamental meaning of John 1:1.” Charles Taze Russell said, looking up from his desk. The new meaning of John 1:1 according to Russell can be started as, “A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, the Son was created.”

At publishing time, critics alleged that a fictional pantheistic energy’s involvement in the penning of the New World Translation had warning signs written all over it. Russell dismissed these concerns by saying they were “as bad as the Star Wars prequels.”
