Carthage Illinois – LDS prophet Joseph Smith set out to give Latter Day Saints a “day in the life glimpse” into the existence of Heavenly Grandfather.

            “Meet Heavenly Grandpa!” An exuberant Joseph Smith said. “Heavenly Gramps is Heavenly Father’s, Father. It really makes sense provided you don’t think about it.”

            The LDS prophet went on to describe a typical day in the life of Heavenly Grandfather. “Heavenly Gramps sits in a cosmic rocking chair reading copies of old newspapers to his spirit babies and complaining about the state of Kolob today,” Smith said. “He is kind of like your earthly grandpa, except he is a God, and had spirit babies.”

            At publishing time, many young ladies were clamoring to hear more about the day-to-day activities of Heavenly Granny.
