Oxford UK – The fury with the nonexistent continues in the atheist community. Prominent atheists Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens decided to vent a little fury on beings other than God they don’t believe exist.

“Unicorns poison everything.” Christopher Hitchens said. “From little kids playing toys, to the wells we atheists drink from, nothing is safe from the poisoning of unicorns.” Hitchens paused, “Oh, and it should go without saying that Santa Clause is not great.”

Richard Dawkins had a different target in mind. “The tooth fairy is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous of peoples teeth and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving tooth control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty mouth cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, dentist lite, capriciously malevolent teeth snatching bully.” Richard Dawkins said. “I mean, think about it, she steals the teeth under your pillow.”

In related news, atheist Sam Harris criticized parents for suggesting that Santa grounds morality around Christmas time.
