Netflix Headquarters – Netflix announced yesterday that it is developing an original series based on Darwin’s Origin of Species. According to the Netflix CEO, the series is slated to compete with the best science fiction of all time.

The first season, according to showrunner Daniel McHeresy, will enthrall viewers by showing a black screen for the first ten episodes. “Most folks don’t understand what nothing really is. We hope that after ten episodes of nothing, folks will then get an understanding of how unlikely it is for something to come out of nothing.” McHeresy told Satura Apologia Today.

The show only gets more exciting after that! McHeresy revealed that the show is scheduled to have five thousand seasons, this allows writers to have some narrative freedom for countless things go wrong in the natural selection process.

Cultural commentator G.K. Chesterton said this one is likely to be a real snoozer and even die-hard Darwinists could probably pass this one by.
