Rome – The counter reformation is heating up as Pope Leo X takes issue with John Calvin’s assertion that the Papacy needed God’s help to go so far off the rails. “I don’t need God’s help to lead the papacy off the straight and narrow!” Pope Leo declared. “Doesn’t Calvin know that the road to destruction is wide?”

            Upon hearing the news that Pope Leo didn’t even consult God in his errors, the countless good Catholics of the world turned to the great Martin Luther for solace. Being a gracious fellow, always willing to help, and never one to brutally insult anybody, Luther composed a song for the mourning Catholics. The song is set to be entitled “A Mighty Sandcastle is My Pope” and will be released on iTunes next month.

            Luther and Calvin declined our request for comment.
