Persia – According to the moon, a devout follower of Mithras, the ancient deity was finally convinced that Jesus failed to rise from the dead after rising from the dead himself and realizing how difficult it was.
“Rising from the dead is powerful tricky.” Mithras reminded his atheist followers. “For one thing, I really liked sitting on the clouds playing harps all day long. I found I had a knack for it. For another thing, getting off the clouds and landing back on the ground is difficult without dying again. I am not sure how this Jesus dude could have managed it without being a knockoff of me.”
At publishing time, Mithras also convinced himself that the apostle Peter was an obvious rip off from his devout disciple, a circular shape that circles the earth known only as the moon.
