Satura Apologia Today
Independence Missouri – LDS prophet Joseph Smith realized that Jesus was even more American than he had originally thought after learning that Jesus used the thoroughly American expression “Yeehaw” to symbolize his triumph over death.
The original followers of Jesus were confused at how American their savior had become. “That ain’t Aramaic.” The disciple Peter puzzled.
“Yeah, I didn’t quite catch the meaning of that phrase.” The disciple John added. “Jesus, are you okay? Or did I hallucinate your Yeehaw just then?”
By publishing time, Joseph Smith had released the following statement to his devoted followers. “I bet that if Jesus were to return tomorrow, he would come in a red, white, and blue pickup truck waving a few Joseph Smith for President signs.”
