Satura Apologia Today
Beyond the Satire Note: In 2009, Richard Dawkins launched a bus campaign. The buses read ‘There is probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life. Read for yourself what they have to say about it. https://humanists.uk/campaigns/successful-campaigns/atheist-bus-campaign/
London England – Humanist organizations and atheist Richard Dawkins recently announced that a new atheist bus tour would be circling Britain, intending to drive society off the cliff.
According to sources, this time the buses would read “There is probably no hope. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life.”
In a statement, Dawkins assured citizens that he was not in fact be doing exactly what he criticizes religious people for doing. “I want to be clear we are not preaching beneficial messages to society as all those annoying Christians do in their own Churches.” Dawkins declared. “We are preaching harmful messages across Britain right to your face.”
The movement secured raving endorsements from Joseph Stalin, Pol Pot, and Mao Zedong. “Certainly nothing to worry about here,” Stalin told anxious citizens. “Just look at the Soviet Union.”
In related news, Richard Dawkins reassured persecuted minorities in the Soviet Union that religion poisons everything and that they would be okay if they remembered there is no hope.
